Days Gone is an open-world game set across a large swathe of the yank geographical area. On the far side, the eternal exploration for fuel and scrap exploration is pointless, making the planet feel dead.
 
As for the particular missions, they are an underwhelming mixture of stealing and cover-based shooting. Stealing involves hunkered in handily placed waist-deep bushes, expecting enemies to pass, then stabbing them violently in the head.
