Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection bundles Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, remastered for PS5 (28 January 2022) and PC (19 October 2022). It contains roughly 22 hours of two of the best action-adventure campaigns ever made — but it does not include Uncharted 1 to 3, and the multiplayer has been removed.
Two things buyers get wrong:
1. This is not the whole series. It contains only Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy. Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 are in The Nathan Drake Collection, a separate PS4 package with no PC release.
2. There is no multiplayer. Uncharted 4's competitive and co-op Survival modes were removed from this collection. It is single-player only.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Nathan Drake has retired. His brother Sam — presumed dead for fifteen years — reappears and pulls him back for one last treasure hunt, chasing the pirate Henry Avery's fortune.
It is the most technically accomplished game Naughty Dog made on PS4 and still looks remarkable. More importantly, it is the most character-driven entry: the tension between Nate's obsession and his marriage to Elena is treated seriously, and the quiet scenes are as strong as the set pieces.
The Madagascar chapter, with its wide driving areas, and the climbing rope introduced here both give the traversal more freedom than earlier games. Combat arenas are broader too, with genuine stealth options rather than shooting galleries.
It resolves Nathan Drake's story properly, and the ending is one of the better send-offs in the medium.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
A standalone story starring Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, hunting the Tusk of Ganesh in India's Western Ghats. Around seven hours.
It is leaner and, for some players, better paced than Uncharted 4. The Chloe and Nadine dynamic is sharp, the puzzles are stronger, and one chapter opens into a genuinely wide exploration zone — the closest Uncharted came to open-world design.
You do not need to have played Uncharted 4 first, though it helps.
Set pieces remain the series' signature, and they hold up.
What does the remaster actually improve?
- 60fps performance mode and a 120fps option on supported displays
- 4K rendering in fidelity mode
- Substantially faster loading
- DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers on PS5
- Improved shadow and texture quality
The jump from 30fps to 60fps is the meaningful change. These games were built around momentum — climbing, sliding, shooting on the move — and the higher frame rate improves all of it.
Is the PC version good?
Yes. Iron Galaxy's port includes ultrawide and 32:9 support, uncapped frame rates, DLSS and FSR, and full remapping.
Tuning advice: the game is GPU-bound and scales well — enable DLSS or FSR on Quality first. Texture quality is the main VRAM consumer, so drop it one step if you have 6GB or less. It runs comfortably on mid-range hardware, and both games are well optimised compared with several other Sony PC ports.
One caveat: PC requires a PlayStation Network account link in some regions, which has caused availability issues in certain countries. Check your region's store page before buying.
Is it worth playing in 2026?
Yes, provided you know what you are buying. Twenty-two hours of two polished, well-written adventures is a strong package, and it discounts heavily.
Uncharted's design is unapologetically linear and cinematic. If you dislike guided experiences with regular cutscenes, that will not change here. But as an example of the form done at its highest level, it is hard to beat.
Where to start if you are new: Uncharted 4 works as an entry point — it recaps enough. But the series is better experienced in order, and if you own a PS4 or PS5, the Nathan Drake Collection covering games 1 to 3 is cheap and worth playing first.

Buying advice
There is no DLC — the collection is complete as sold. PS4 owners of Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy were offered a paid upgrade to the collection rather than a free one, so check what you already own. It appears in PlayStation Plus catalogues periodically and discounts steeply on Steam.
A note on cracked builds: they are illegal, a known malware vector, and frozen at whichever version was cracked — missing the patches that resolved several PC stability issues at launch. IGGG Guides does not link to pirated software.

Does the collection include Uncharted 1, 2 and 3?
No. It contains only Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy. The earlier games are in The Nathan Drake Collection, which is PS4 only.

The verdict
Legacy of Thieves is an excellent package let down only by what it leaves out. Uncharted 4 is Naughty Dog at the peak of its blockbuster craft, and The Lost Legacy is arguably the tighter game of the two.
Just go in knowing it is two games, not five, and that the multiplayer is gone. On those terms it is one of the better value collections available.
Best for: fans of cinematic action-adventure and anyone who missed these on PS4.
